"We purchased a full cab enclosure for a '08' Polaris Ranger. The cab was installed in January 09, outside, not in a heated building. This cab enclosure is everything and more than it was described on the website. The cab was put through one of the coldest winters we have had in years, no problems. It was a blessing to be able to drive the Polaris out for ice fishing. We could not have done it without the cab. A typical trip would be from a mile to 6 miles on the ice and the enclosure worked great. We were thinking of getting a heater installed, but it was not needed. We even took a 70 mile trip one weekend in February thru the forest over two track and snowmobile trails in two feet of snow. The outside air temp reached a high about 15 degrees. The cab was great; not cold, no snow inside the cab, no frozen pantlegs, face or fingers.

We put the Polaris on a trailer and drive 30 miles to go ice fishing on Higgins Lake. We kept our speed between 45 and 50 MPH. I checked the cab after every trip and found no damage to the cab. Many of the mornings were below 0 when we left home. This is one tough cab!!

I received my MiniCab for Mule 610 yesterday. Installed it this A.M. Fits good as you can see. I live in Vermont & wanted the enclosure to keep wind out of my face when plowing the private road I live on. It works great and I am very pleased with your product so far.

I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how pleased we are with the enclosure you designed for our Gator. It was a very cold winter (where’s the Global Warming we were promised?). We keep the Gator in a heated garage, so it’s warm inside when we start out. The Gator puts out quite a bit of heat from under the steering wheel. (You don’t notice it without the enclosure) With this combination, and your enclosure, we could ride for hours in very cold windy conditions, in complete comfort.

WINDSHIELDS & CABS.....
Okay we mentioned the roof earlier and said some people feel a windshield is a MUST HAVE but here are some very good reasons not to have a windshield given to us by other riders. 1.) they can be damaged while towing. 2.) they get scratched or break easily while off roading. 3.) too much dust in the cab after installing the windshield. Some folks have solved these problems by going to a "mini-cab" which consists of a windshield, roof and rear window (no door closures). Others claim to have a roof (Hunterworks) that utilizes an airfoil design and eliminates the dust that comes into the cab from behind the passenger and driver. For this writer a roof is a must at all times but a windshield and rear window are only needed when the weather turns bad. The Mammoth Designs or Mammoth Skins Mini Cab is the ideal product for use in bad weather. Mini Cabs are quick and easy to install and can be removed for trailering or when you want to feel the wind in your face!
